We’re getting married!

We are so excited to gather our favorite people to celebrate and send us into our next chapter with love. The big day is in Ainsley’s hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. We’re planning an evening of heartfelt declarations, lots of laughter, music, and good food.

It’ll be an unforgettable night in the land of “Unbridled Spirit” 🐎

FAQs:

Hotel blocks / recs:

We have a hotel block reserved at The Hilton downtown which is walkable to the Carnegie Center. The link to reserve (by July 8th) is here.Other close downtown options are Marriott City Center, The Sire Hotel, Residence Inn by Marriott, and the Hyatt

There are lots of Airbnb/VRBO options and other hotels a further drive away, text Ainsley if you wanna run any options by someone.

Pre/Post wedding events?

We’re planning a casual meet up on Friday (8/7) from 2-5pm, and a Sunday brunch (8/9) at the Wagoner home. Check back here for details

We totally understand folks have lives to get back to, so no pressure - but we’d love the extra quality time.

Are you registered somewhere?

Yes! We are registered at Zola and Heath Ceramics

Dress code??:

Officially: “festive” aka “fun and fancy” aka “funky formal” - wear something you feel special in, or never get the occasion to wear. Have fun with color and pattern and texture! It’ll be hot and humid so feel free to skip the suit jacket. Here’s a moodboard.

What should I see in Lexington?

If it’s your first time in Lexington, you’re in for a treat. It’s a special town. Check back here for a list of recommended sights and bites for your stay.

day-of details:

Our venue is the Carnegie Center for Literacy - Lexington’s first library, on beautiful Gratz Park.

If the weather is good, we’ll do the ceremony in Gratz Park, directly behind the Carnegie Center. If it’s raining or unbearably hot, the ceremony will be inside the Carnegie Center. The reception will be in the Carnegie Center.

RSVP

Accessibility:

For the outdoor ceremony, Gratz Park is ground level and has a bricked path along the areas we will have the outdoor ceremony.

The Carnegie Center has a ramp entrance on its Mill Street side that takes you into the basement, and then an elevator to reach the main and top floors.

Bathrooms are in the basement and 2nd floors of the Carnegie Center.

Parking:

There is ample parking along Gratz Park on both Market and Mill Streets. Miraculously, in Lexington, metered parking is free on weekends.

No Box Gifts Please:

Since we will be flying back to San Francisco after the wedding, we humbly request no box gifts at the wedding. If you need our mailing address, just holler!
